Description

The Palliative Prognostic (PaP) Score can be used to estimate short term survival for terminally ill cancer patients. It was developed by the Italian Multicenter and Study Group for Palliative Care.

Parameters:

(1) dyspnea

(2) anorexia

(3) Karnofsky Performance Scale (KPS)

(4) Clinical Prediction of Survival (CPS), in weeks (based on physician's clinical experience)

(5) total white blood cell (WBC) count

(6) percent lymphocytes in differential count
