Description

Bonis et al reported a model for evaluating a patient with chronic hepatitis C (HCV). This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from Yale University, LA County USC School of Medicine, National Genetics Institute (Boulder) and Tufts University.


Patient selection: chronic hepatitis C (HCV)

 

Outcomes: liver failure, hepatocellular carcinoma or liver transplant
