Description

Baik et al listed criteria for rating impairment in a patient with impairment caused by a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This was one several rating systems developed by the Korean Academy of Medical Sciences.


 

Patient selection: presence of a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

 

Parameters:

(1) symptoms of chronic IBD

(2) performance of normal daily activities

(3) need for care

(4) weight loss secondary to chronic IBD
