ACEF Model of Ranucci et al for Mortality During Elective Cardiac Surgery

Purpose: To estimate the risk of death associated with elective cardiac surgery using the ACEF score of Ranucci et al.

Description

Ranucci et al developed a model for predicting mortality in a patient undergoing elective noncardiac surgery. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from IRCCS Policlinico S. Donato in Milan.

(3) left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) in percent (as a number from 0 to 100)
