Purpose: To predict mortality for a patient undergoing cardiac surgery using the ACEF II score of Ranucci et al.

Description

Ranucci et al reported an update to the ACEF score for patients undergoing cardiac surgery. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan and University Hospital Santa Maria alle Scotte in Siena.
