Description

Ho et al developed a model for predicting the risk of surgical site infection (SSI) following a renal transplant. An SSI can have a negative impact on the patient, the hospital and the payers. The authors are from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Analysis: logistic regression

Parameters:

(1) age of the patient at the time of the transplant surgery

(2) delayed graft function (DGF)

(3) body mass index (BMI)

(4) donor
