Purpose: To evaluate a patient for a burn in a tattoo during an MRI procedure.

Evaluation

Are you evaluating a patient who has had an MRI?

Does the patient have a traumatic tattoo?

Does the patient have a decorative tattoo?

Did the patient describe the onset of pain in a tattoo after starting the MRI?

Did the pain decrease when the MRI stopped?

Is the patient comatose, sedated or receiving narcotics?

Is there evidence of a skin burn in the distribution of the tattoo?
