Diagnostic Criteria of the American Heart Association for Kawasaki Syndrome

Number of days with fever

Is bilateral conjunctival injection present?

Does the oral mucosa show changes such as erythema of the pharynx, 'strawberry tongue', or erythematous and fissured lips?

Do the hands and feet show changes such as redness and swelling or periungual desquamation?

Is there a maculopapular rash, primarily on the trunk?

Is there a scarlatiniform rash, primarily on the trunk?

Is there erythema multiforme, primarily on the trunk?

Is there a vesicular rash, primarily on the trunk?

Is cervical lymphadenopathy present (typically > 1.5 cm)?

Is there another illness that could explain the clinical findings?
