A patient with adult-onset Still's disease may present with a number of clinical signs and symptoms. The onset may follow a recent infection.
Findings in most or all patients:
(1) transient fevers > 39°C
(2) arthritis and/or arthralgias
Findings in many patients:
(1) sore throat
(2) myalgias
(3) lymphadenopathy
(4) rash (evanescent, pink, maculopapular, on trunk and proximal limbs)
Findings in some patients:
(1) pleuritis
(2) pericarditis
(3) splenomegaly
