Yano-Yamamoto Endoscopic Classification of Small Bowel Vascular Lesions

Yano and Yamamoto reported an endoscopic classification for small bowel vascular lesions.

Patient selection: small bowel vascular lesion seen on endoscopy

Parameters:

(1) punctate lesions less than 1 mm in diameter

(2) patchy erythema a few mm in diameter

(3) pulsatile red protrusions
