(2) it makes a bold, black-and-white statement on a controversial subject
(3) one or more claims are extraordinary
(4) the presence of clickbait
(5) the presence of a small amount of valid information which is exaggerated or distorted
(6) it is being spread on unvetted platforms
Additional warning signs not listed in source:
(1) the source is known to be biased
(2) the absence of verifiable sources
(3) dysfunctional statements (all-or-nothing, other)
(4) absence of corroborating information
