Lamarche et al reported the Vancouver Simplified Blunt Aortic Injury Grading System for blunt aortic trauma (BAI). This is predictive of clinical outcomes. The authors are from Vancouver General Hospital, University of British Columbia, Montreal Heart Institute, and Universite de Montreal in Canada.
