Description

Short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with cranial autonomic symptoms (SUNA) or short-lasting unilateral neurlgiform headache with conjunctival injection and tearing (SUNCT) can occur spontaneously or be triggered by certain events.


 

SUNA or SUNCT can be triggered by:

(1) touch

(2) stress

(3) being tired

(4) travel

(5) weather

(6) change in temperature

(7) chewing or eating

(8) washing face or bathing/showering

(9) brushing teeth

(10) washing or brushing hair

(11) exercise

(12) shaving

(13) blowing nose

(14) alcohol

(15) exposure to smoke

(16) certain smells
