Barfod et al reported triage protocols at the Hillerod Hospital in Denmark. One protocol involved patients with chest pain. This is one component of the Hillerod Acute Process Triage (HAPT) system.
Patient selection: adult being triaged to the Emergency Department with chest pain

(3) chest pain within the last 24 hours
(4) dyspnea on exertion
