Landry et al proposed a new TNM staging system for patients with a carcinoid tumor in the colon. The authors are from the University of Louisville.

(1) diameter of the tumor in centimeters

(2) depth of tumor invasion by anatomical layer

(3) regional lymph node metastases

(4) distant metastases
