Description

The Women's Androgenetic Alopecia Quality of Life Questionnaire (WAA-QOL) can be used to evaluate a woman's subjective response to androgenetic alopecia. This can be used to monitor response to clinical interventions to reverse the hair loss. The work was sponsored by Merck & Co., Inc.

Interpretation:

• minimum score: 16

• maximum score: 112

• The higher the score, the better the woman's perceived quality of life.

Limitations:

• It might be nice to have reversal of responses rather than having all with the same direction.
