If fleeing or hiding are not possible, then attacking an active shooter may be the best option.
If the active shooter is not an immediate threat then:
(1) remain calm
(2) dial 911 and report the active shooter's location.
If in imminent danger then try to disrupt or incapacitate the active shooter:
(1) throw something at the shooter
(2) use an improvised weapon
(3) use a concealed carry firearm
If action is taken, then it is important to follow through.
