The Systemic Inflammation (or Inflammatory) Response Index (SIRI) reflects a systemic inflammatory response.
Parameters:
(1) absolute neutrophil count in 10^9/L, pretreatment
(2) absolute monocyte count in 10^9/L, pretreatment
(3) absolute lymphocyte count in 10^9/L, pretreatment
SIRI =
= (absolute neutrophil count) * (absolute monocyte count) / (absolute lymphocyte count)
Interpretation:
• A score >= 1.8 * 10^9/L is considered elevated and is associated with a worse prognosis.
