(1) urgency (sudden need to find a toilet AND fear of urine incontinence)
(2) with or without urge incontinence
(3) often with frequency
(4) often with nocturia
(5) not due to an underyling pathologic or metabolic condition
Other conditions that have symptoms overlapping with OABS:
(1) urinary tract infection (UTI)
(2) benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH)
(3) urinary bladder cancer
The presence of the following are indicators of another condition and should not be seen with OABS::
(1) pain or dysuria
(2) hematuria
(3) obstructive voiding symptoms
