Sweet's syndrome (acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis) may be associated with a number of vaccinations.
Vaccinations that have been followed by Sweet's syndrome:
(1) Streptococcus pneumoniae
(2) BCG
(3) influenza
Features:
(1) The patient has a recent history of vaccination.
(2) The patient develops Sweet's syndrome after the vaccination.
(3) No other explanation (drug, paraneoplastic, infection) can explain the Sweet's syndrome.
