Description

Bustamante-Munguira reported the Infection Risk Index in Cardiac surgery (IRIC) which help to identify a patient at risk for surgical site infection after cardiac surgery. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from Hospital Clinico Universitario de Valladolid, Hospital Virgen de la Concha, and Hospital Universitario de La Princesa in Spain.
