The Standardization of Uveitis Nomenclature (SUN) Working Group reported criteria for the diagnosis of uveitis associated with spondyloarthritis or HLA-B27.
Criteria for spondyloarthritis-associated uveitis - all of the following:
(1) anterior uveitis
(2) at least one of the following:
(2a) chronic uveitis with both ASAS-defined spondyloarthritis AND HLA-B27 positivity
(2b) both of the following:
(2b1) acute or recurrent acute, unilateral or unilateral alternating course
