Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APML) may be associated with sudden death.

Causes of sudden death:
(1) severe bleeding, especially intracerebral
(2) sepsis
Sudden death can occur during chemotherapy. It has been associated with arsenic trioxide therapy.
