Patient selection: status post stroke

 

Items:

(1) accept influence of stroke on body and appearance

(2) embarrassed by difficulty in speaking

(3) meaningful life despite stroke

(4) will stick with rehabilitation

(5) worry about being a burden

(6) feel uncomfortable by how someone treats me

(7) smaller communication scopes after stroke

(8) have been treated unfairly because of stroke

(9) someone thinks little of my opinion because of my stroke

(10) have experienced discrimination

(11) someone still helps me patiently

(12) losing face because of the stroke

(13) blame self because of stroke

(14) feel a useful person after stroke

(15) feel little respect since having the stroke

(16) unhappy when seeing someone do something unable to do
