The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) staging scheme for Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (GTD) is based on the extent of disease, with subgroupings based on functional activity and duration of disease.

(1) serum ß-HCG > 100,000 mIU/mL (IU/L)
