Description

Wang and Foo reported a staging system for benign prostate hyperpalasia (BPH), This can hellp to tailor treatment for the individual patients. The authors are from Chongqing Medical University and Singapore General Hospital.


Patient selection: male with benign prostate hyperplasia

 

Parameters:

(1) bothersome symptoms, with Quality of Life index> 3

(2) postvoid residual urine volume in mL

(3) complications (bladder stones, recurrent UTI, recurrent gross hematuria, gross retention)
