Ettinger et al reviewed mucocutaneous conditions associated with primary immunodeficiencies.
The authors are from University Medical Center Regensburg and University Hospital of Cologne.
Patient selection: primary immunodeficiency with skin ulcer
Conditions to consider include:
(1) leukocyte/neutrophilic adhesion deficiency = LAD (ITGB2, SLC35C1, FERMT3)
(2) C7 deficiency (C7)
Both conditions may be associated with pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) or PG-like skin lesions.
