Outcome: presence of cannabis-use disorder (CUD)

 

Single Item: how often marijuana used in past year

 

Responses: never, less than monthly, monthly, weekly, daily or almost daily

 

Positive screen: less than monthly, monthly, weekly, daily/almost daily

Negative screen: never

 

Prevalence of DSM-V CUD: 6.6%

Negative predictive value: 97-100%

Positive predictive value: 17-34%

 

Performance:

• The reported area under the ROC curve for CUD is 0.89.
