Description

Stephens et al developed simple risk scores for patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia with del(17p13.1). These can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from the University of Utah, the Ohio State University, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in East Melbourne.

Patient selection: CLL with del(17p13.1)

Outcomes: treatment-free survival

Parameters:

(1) ECOG from 0 to 4

(2) Rai Stage from 0 to 4

(3) age in years

(4) WBC count in 10^9/L
