Liu et al reported the Simple Sepsis Early Prognostic Score (SSEPS) for evaluating a patient with sepsis in the Emergency Department. The score can help to identify a patient with early sepsis who may require more aggressive management. The authors are from Sichuan University and West China Hospital in Chengdu.
