Description

The score used by Mackenzie and Grant evaluated patients receiving intravenous sedation as an adjunct to spinal anesthesia in patients undergoing lower limb surgery.


 

Definition of sedation used: Preservation of eyelash reflex and purposeful reaction to verbal or mild physical stimulation.
