Bryant reported discoloration of scrotal skin as a sign of retroperitoneal hemorrhage. It can be a useful finding if the patient's presentation is atypical.
Clinical features:
(1) painless discoloration of scrotal skin (reddish to bluish)
(2) typically nontraumatic
(3) presence of retroperitoneal bleeding (ruptured aortic aneurysm, severe pancreatitis with hemorrhage, spontaneously ruptured tumor, etc).
