Interpretation:
• minimum score: 0
• maximum score: 23
• The higher the score the greater the need for discharge planning.
• A cutoff > 10 has a sensitivity of 79% and specificity of 76%.
• A score > 11 has a sensitivity of 75% and specificity of 78%.
Performance:
• The area under the ROC curve is 0.84 in the development cohort and 0.822 in the validation cohort.
