Cho et al reported a screening tool to identify a Korean adult with undiagnosed diabetes mellitus. The authors are from Yonsei University and Wonkwang University in Korea.


Patient selection: Korean adult not diagnosed with diabetes, age >= 20 years

Interpretation:

• minimum score: 0

• maximum score: 13

• A score > 7 is associated with diabetes.

 

 

Performance:

• The area under the ROC curve is 0.76.

• The sensitivity is 0.83 and specificity 0.58.
