Description

Ralph et al reported a simple score for grading changes seen on the chest X-ray of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. The authors are from multiple institutions in Australia and Indonesia including the District Health Authority in Timika, Papua Province, Indonesia.


Patient selection: smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis

(1) percent of lung affected (consolidation, nodules, fibrosis, cavitation)

(2) cavitary disease
