Score of Goasguen et al and Prognosis for the Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Description

The scoring system of Goasguen et al uses values for hemoglobin, platelet count and per cent bone marrow blasts, since these were found to best predict survival and leukemic transformation. When these values were plotted in 3 dimensions, it was possible to better appreciate their interrelationships.
