Edslev et al reported a simple score for predicting a brief and uneventful course for a child with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. The score can help to identify a patient who may require more aggressive management. The authors are from Aalborg Hospital (Denmark), Sachs' Children’s Hospital (Sweden), Jorvi Hospital (Finland), Rikshopitalet (Oslo) and Landspitali (Iceland).
