The Score for Neonatal Acute Physiology with Perinatal Extension-II (SNAPPE-II) is a modified version of the SNAP-PE.
Patient: newborn on admission to the NICU
Parameters present on NICU admission:
(1) mean arterial pressure (MAP) in mm Hg
(2) lowest body temperature in °C
(3) Pa/FIO2 ratio (apparently with FIO2 as a whole number rather than decimal fraction)
(4) lowest serum pH
(5) multiple seizures
(6) urine output in mL per kg per hour
(7) Apgar score at 5 minutes
(8) birthweight in grams
(9) small for gestational age (less than third percentile)
