Description

Sclerosing Lymphangitis (Benign Transient Lymphangiectasis, BTLP) of the penis is a rare penile disorder


Typical age: male 20 t0 40 years of age

 

Clinical features:

(1) recent vigorous sexual activity

(2) asymptomatic flesh-colored, firm, cord-like lesion encircling the coronal sulcus

(3) improvement after a period of sexual abstinence

(4) rarely distal edema and/or skin erosions

 

A biopsy shows ectasia of lymphatics and/or superficial veins.

 

Differential diagnosis:

(1) Mondor's disease

(2) sexually-transmitted infection
