Sarcopenic dysphagia refers to dysphagia associated with sarcopenia.
The typical patient is an older adult >= 65 years of age.
Clinical features:
(1) presence of sarcopenia
(2) swallowing difficulties and dysphagia associated with the loss of muscles
(3) exclusion of other causes of dysphagia
(4) reduced tongue and lip strength
(5) malnutrition
