Sarcoidosis may rarely involve the male genitalia.
Penile involvement by sarcoidosis may present as:
(1) skin papules, nodules and/or ulceration
(2) lesion on the glans
(3) penile or scrotal mass
(4) urethral lesion
Diagnostic findings:
(1) evidence of sarcoidosis elsewhere (may be absent)
(2) demonstration of noncaseating granulomas on biopsy of a lesion
(3) elevated serum angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) concentration
(4) exclusion of other diagnoses
