Rough sex is physically and verbally aggressive and often involves infliction of pain to the partner.
Rough sex may include a combination of:
(1) bondage
(2) sado-masochism
(3) fisting
(4) hair pulling
(5) sexual asphyxia/choking
(6) spanking
(7) scratching
(8) biting
(9) double penetration
Consensual rough sex needs to be distinguished from nonconsensual sexual violence. A person with impulse control or who is a psychopath may become inappropriate once aroused.
Permanent injury or death can occur if behavior gets too rough.
