Description

The slope of a roof has a number of implications include the risk for roofers.


Low-slope roof means a roof having a slope less than or equal to 4 in 12 (vertical to horizontal).

 

Steep roof means a roof having a slope greater than 4 in 12 (vertical to horizontal).

The angle can be calculated using the arctan (ATAN in Excel) function.
