In the Rome IV classification there are a variety of functional disorders primarily involving nausea and vomiting, including the chronic nausea and vomiting syndrome (CNVS).
Diagnostic criteria for CNVS:
(1) at least one of the following:
(1a) bothersome nausea severe enough to impact usual activities >= 1 day per week
(1b) >= 1 vomiting episode per week
(2) onset of symptoms >= 6 months
(3) symptoms present for the past 3 months
(4) exclusion of other conditions (including self-induced vomiting, anorexia-bulimia, rumination)
(5) exclusion of structural or metabolic disorders
