Description

For a person who is at risk for an autosomal dominant disease and who has reached a certain age unaffected, the probability that the person will develop the disease by a certain future age can be predicted if the cumulative probabilities are known.

= ((cumulative risk for developing disease by future age) – (cumulative risk for developing disease by current age)) / (1 - (cumulative risk for developing disease by current age))
