Description

Cotton et al evaluated pediatric patients for intraabdominal injuries following blunt abdominal trauma. They identified risk factors which can help to identify a pediatric patient who may require more aggressive management. The authors are from the University of Missouri and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.

Patient selection: pediatric patients < 16 years
