Description

A person who shaves with a blade may suffer skin cuts.


 

Risk factors for skin cuts while shaving with a blade:

(1) failure to use a safety razor

(2) tremor or twitch

(3) uncoordination

(4) intoxication

(5) fainting or narcolepsy

(6) seizure

(7) being jostled by someone or hit by something

(8) room movement, as on a train or boat

(9) cough or sneeze

(10) poor vision or visibility

(11) trying to hurry

(12) self-harm

(13) raised skin lesion or skin fold

(14) irregular surface

(15) distorted anatomy after trauma or surgery

(16) inexperience
