(1) pacemaker
(2) pre-existing arrhythmia
(3) agitated from cocaine, phencyclidine, amphetamine or other illicit drug
(4) agitation from psychiatric or other condition
(5) medication causing a prolonged QTc
(6) metabolic acidosis
Risk factors for injury - electrode or taser needle insertion site:
(1) intra/trans-ocular
(2) intra/trans-arterial
Risk factors for injury - use related:
(1) prolonged application
(2) repeated misuse for torture or interrogation
(3) excessive voltage
Risk factors for injury - other:
(1) fall-related
(2) pregnancy (miscarriage)
