Risk factors for death while cave diving:
(1) novice or poorly trained
(2) getting lost because unfamiliar with cave, confused or overcome with panic
(3) lack of extra-large air tanks
(4) failure to carefully manage air resources
(5) failure to use guide cables
(6) getting caught in flood or tides
(7) getting trapped in a narrow passage
