Revised Criteria of the International Myeloma Working Group (IMWG): Smoldering Multiple Myeloma (SMM)

Criteria for smoldering myeloma - both of the following:

(1) one or more of the following:

(1a) serum monoclonal IgA or IgG >= 3 g/dL (30 g/L)

(1b) urinary monoclonal protein >= 500 mg per 24 hour

(1c) 10-60% of bone marrow plasma cells clonal

(2) absence of myeloma-defining events and amyloidosis
